Heather and Dai Howells welcome you to the lovely Gower Cottage, Llanmadoc, in the west of Gower close to fab beaches and walks. Ideal for a larger family group and/or two families. This traditional stone cottage previously provided the village post office and coffee shop and is now a family home, let during holiday vacations. The owners also run a private 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps 5) next door to Gower Cottage namely Middle Cottage (which may be viewed at www.cottages-gower.co.uk), and a smaller holiday apartment Wagtails Apartment  - perfect for a couple (which may be viewed at found at www.cottageingower.co.uk).  Both these alternatives are available 52 weeks of the year.

Gower Cottage is a self-catering five-bedroom cottage (with two bathrooms - one being en-suite to master bedroom), right in the heart of Llanmadoc and close to lovely country walks and Llanmadoc Beach. Gower Cottage - the beds are quality, new beds, with new fresh bed linen, and new pillows replaced annually. The cottage has a traditional feel, but with many modern facilities. The lounge area is equipped with a 42"plasma tv with satellite channels, and we supply a variety of films and dvds to suit all tastes. The dining room seats eight (more at a push), we offer a good sized, well equipped kitchen, with usual facilities such as kettle, toaster, microwave, cooker with double oven, dishwasher, a fully equipped utility room with six shelf frost-free freezer, full size larder fridge, 2 x tumble dryers, and 2 x washing machines. (Our kitchen is equipped with cast iron Le Creuset pots and pans and bakeware, and Denby crockery.  We provide games and books for your enjoyment. In short, more or less everything you have at home will be here waiting for you including a landline telephone line if you need to call a local restaurant, cinema or check up on elderly relatives back home during your stay. BEDROOMS (All have bedside lamps and DAB radio alarms, some have TVs).

The bedrooms comprise:

Bedroom 1 (en suite bathroom/bidet/WC/shower over bath) - King Size bed with top of range pocket sprung Millbrook mattress, wardrobes,chest of drawers;

Bedroom 2 - Super King Size (6ft x 6ft) quality pocket sprung bed, wardrobes inc. drawers;

Bedroom 3 - King Size quality pocket sprung bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers; TV/DVD.

Bedroom 4 - Brand new four ft pocket sprung bed (i.e. just smaller than double bed sleeps 2 - ideal for 2 kids); Wardrobe; chest of drawers; TV.

Bedroom 5 - King Size pocket sprung bed, wardrobe. chest of drawers

Total sleeping spaces = max 10.

Additional family bathroom (shower over bath, sink) and seperate WC, on first floor near all bedrooms.

GARDEN 

The garden has a large patio with ample quality teak tables and chairs, gas BBQ etc., plus lawn with benches. Parking at rear for several cars.
